Dear friends and family,

As many of you know I have been living in Slovakia (it’s almost unbelievable to write this) for nearly 20 years now. It's where I met my wife Lucy, and God has blessed us with two children: Matus, who is 12 years old and has a keen interest in World War II history and playing basketball, and Lily, who loves dressing up and playing with her friends. Over the years I have been learning, growing, and serving in all areas of ministry from youth work, evangelism, discipleship, preaching, pastoral and elder care, and church planting.  

We are now in Lučenec and feel a strong calling from Jesus to reach out to the people in our city who are disconnected from or have never been a part of the church. In Europe, secularism is on the rise, causing the decline of traditional religious institutions and leaving a growing number of individuals without any religious beliefs, as well as those who only identify as cultural "Christians". In Lučenec a city of 30,000 residents, there are over 5,000 people who claim to have no faith, and many more who are simply loosely associated with Christianity.

It is our hope for every person in our city to have the opportunity to hear and embrace the good news of Jesus, find a welcoming church community, and learn how to live out their faith in their daily lives. We aim to achieve this by establishing genuine relationships, organizing discussion groups and Bible studies, and regularly hosting gatherings of multiple families in our home. Our goal is to establish a house church that will serve as a foundation for the birth of smaller churches, ultimately leading to the establishment of a network of 12 new churches throughout the city.

If you would like to support us in our ministry, you can start by praying for God's guidance, provision, and leadership as we navigate this important work. Additionally, we are in need of prayer for more workers to join us in the field. You can also contribute by pledging to be a financial partner. We are seeking 21 people who are willing to commit to giving $100 per month for a period of two years.
