Back home, changes, and Christmas

It has been good to be home and finally getting back into a normal rhythm. Lucy has officially stopped working and we are focusing on getting our application done for GEM (Greater Europe Missions). I have also taken a day trip to Košice to visit with some friends from Relational Missions and the Lighthouse community (I wrote for their blog you can see it here https://lighthousecommunity.eu/a-slovakian-story/ ) as well as a three day retreat to Budapest for a year-round mentoring program with the European Leadership Forum.

Since returning our bible studies, discussion groups, and gatherings have started up again. Last week we had a Christmas party with our friends. While planning for this event and thinking about the future we are feeling led to begin looking into finding a space to rent as a base for our ministry. A place to host the different bible studies we do, an outreach discussion forum, dinners, and also a Sunday worship service. We have been looking into potential places and will need to raise some support to rent a facility.

As we are looking forward to Christmas and the New Year we would like to thank all of you for your prayers and also our new ministry support partners. You are the reason we get to do what we are doing. We are very hopeful for the upcoming New Year and all the Lord is going to do in and through the work you are helping to grow.

I have received news that Loving the World ministries and Journey the Church are merging and that soon our giving will need to go through Journey the Church. The merger will be starting from January 1st and all giving will need to be switched by March 2024. As soon as we get a link I’ll be sure to pass it along to all of you.
